Blogging in blogger or blogging in a new domain?

    Hi all,
I am new to blogging and I have a doubt. Since I have got adsense, I can earn from blogger. But my question is simple. What should I do first, blogging in blogger for a certain period and then buy a domain and start the actual blog or should I buy the domain right away and link it with my blogger account?
If I blog from blogger for a certain period and later if I buy a domain and link it to my blogger account, will I get the same traffic that I previously used to get from my blogspot?

If you have Google Adsense Account and ready to link to your website, then it must be better to start a new domain like .com, .net, etc.
Because, when the name changes from free blogspot.com to .com or .net, the search engines may need time to crawl it.
If you're selecting an appropriate domain name for your website, then it will help you great in Search Engine Optimization and traffic for sure.
So, I would suggest you to go for new domain, so that the website will be popular in few months. If you're going for free platforms such as blogger, wordpress, joomla, etc. Still you have options to change the domain name but you will lose some traffic even though you can redirect your visitors to your new website.

    Thanks & Regards,

Keep your blogspot blog with Adsense display if the blog is more than 3-6 months old. If you buy a new domain, it is better to contribute to get organic traffic and wait for 3-6 months old to associate existing Adsense account to it.

In case, if you would like to use blogspot blog domain with a new domain like xyz.com or xyz.in etc. still new domain needs to cross certain weeks before associating Adsense account to it for safer side.

    Regards,
