Hi Ronald Curns

Your network interface card and its driver are absolutely fine. There is problem with the IP address setting of your PC or destination device. Try to set the correct IP address, Subnet Mask, Gateway and DNS addresses in the network interface card of your PC.

If your are facing problem with IP address then you can manually give the IP address by performing following below step.

Open Network and Sharing Centre from Control Panel

Now open Network Adapter Setting

Type cmd command in Run and then type ipconfig /all

Note down the IPv4 address and fill in the Networking section manually

Now try to connect again
