    Which is the best download manager for windows 7?

    Hello to all techies my question is a simple one that which is the best download manager which provides the best speed and which is of small size and easy to download. Currently I am using Internet Download Manager which is providing average downloading speed. I am using net via phone to PC and the service provider is Tata DoCoMo and I am living in NCR region. I am using a 2g internet connection and I am only getting just 10-13 kbps of average speed which according to me is not so good for downloading any program. There are other programs like DAP download accelerator plus and orbit downloader but I didn't find it fascinating enough. So please give me your view and suggest me how to increase speed of Internet Download Manager.

    Hi Himanshu,

    I think Internet Download Manager (IDM) is the best download manager one can have installed on their systems. And as you have said that you are using 2G plan which is providing you the downloading speed of 10-13 kbps through IDM. What more you expect? A downloading speed of 20-30 kbps.

    2G unlimited plans provides you a downloading speed of 20-30 kbps for first 2GB data. Then the downloading speed reduced to 5-6 kbps. And in limited data plans the downloading speed is same as long as your data consumption ends.

    Thank You for helping and telling me that I can only get this much speed and I will think of buying a 3G dongle which might provide me good speed and will also increase my surfing speed.

    Hi

    Internet Download Manager is best down loader manager for downloading. i am using this from last two years and I found that this down-loader manager provide excellent speed and out put in this regards.
