    WhatsApp allows 'hide last seen' feature on Android

    After deal with Facebook, WhatsApp bring one new interesting feature in it. The feature 'hide last seen' is now introduced on Android. Except this WhatsApp now also allow you to hide your profile picture or status from unknown people. The app is available on its website only. Requirement is only Android 2.1 or higher. After installing new version just go to setting>Account>Privacy. There you will see last seen setting. It will be interesting.

    This is really an intresting update from WhatsApp team. Hiding profile pics and status from unknown people will help the users to keep their privacy as well as it protects from all abuses and negative trends that are common in nowadays. An absolutely needed feature.

    I haven't heard of this feature being introduced in Whatsapp, but if it is going to be introduced the it is not a good feature according to me. One can see that when was other online but now it will nat be visible to others.

    Yes, Whatsapp has now provided this feature of hiding "last seen" timestamp for Android smartphones as well (it was already available for iPhones). Please refer further details in below article:
