Web Development in PHP vs JSP

    Hello,

I have been a PHP/MySQl developer from the past two years. I use it in all my projects whether it is the college projects or personal projects or may be while working as a freelance developer.

I have also been widely comfortable in developing websites and web applications using the LAMP stack. But I have heard many people saying that you should learn Java ( JSP for web ) as it is the future.

The thing that JSP code will take 2 pages can be written in 1/2 a page in PHP still why do they consider Java as the future.

I strongly disagree to this as I am highly comfortable with PHP. What are your views on this ?

    Thanks

    Hello Chirag Swadia,

PHP is a scripting language like Javascript.

JSP contains lot of tags like HTML tags, EL tags, scrptlets and many other tags we can use in JSP. It is a lot more easier in JSP to get the dynamic content on your page.

For more information, we have sister site of Techulator i.e. www.javastudychannel.com . You can join that site and should post your Java related questions there. There is a lot more possibility of getting much better answers. You can also read this article.

    Thanks and Regards,
    Ravneet Singh
