Cloud is the term used in Cloud computing. Yes, It represents cloud only. As our cloud is open and free to move anywhere same way we are talking about the computing/storage where our data is in cloud and you can get them anytime you want.
Every time you access your Gmail or amazon, There are millions of data at least you must be using some percent of Gmail let's say 500MB. So where this 500MB has been stored and how come you get it in your email account when ever you want? That's cloud I suppose. Cloud computing is booming and we can expect to see all applications and businesses will be in cloud cause of easiness and reliability.
Once you store something in cloud storage, you can use that data anywhere you want or in any devise like tab,smartphone,lap,PC etc.

Cloud is a terminology used to indicate that the whole data will be available in the network without having to add any extra storage device. MAny applications, songs, videos , photos willbe available on a network called Cloud. It can be accessed from anywhere anytime and the best part its free!!!!!!
