As per Microsoft's latest blog, Windows 8 will have the following new features. These are the conformed changes which are going to appear in Windows 8 operating system. Apart from this, if any new conformed changes in Windows 8 operating system, post your answer as a response to this thread.

3) Improved Copy Jobs feature
4) Ribbon interface for Windows Explorer
5) An option to mount ISO files without using any optical drive .
6) Virtual Hard Disk (VHD) file support
7) Metro style desktop
8) Hyper-V technology in Windows 8 Client operating system
9) Fast booting in Windows 8 OS
