  • This is the right time that you have started thinking on those lines of how to become a software engineer. As you may be aware that for getting admission in engineering stream one has to qualify in JEE entrance examination after completing class XI I with science stream. So, you have to start that preparation right from day one. You do your studies of class XI and XII but along with start seeing the syllabus of JEE exam and the model question papers or old question papers to get a feel of what type of questions are asked there. Correlate those questions to your present syllabus of class XI and XII and try to solve them one by one as more and more studies are moving on in your class. You can get the old question papers on the internet or in the sister site of Techulator that is - IndiaStudyChannel.

Please note that selective studies would not suffice in this pursuit of becoming a software engineer. You have to thoroughly cover the complete syllabus and do the revision also a few times as per your retention power. More you work hard, more chances are there for you to succeed.

Another important point is that depending upon your performance in JEE, you would get to choose the institution and engineering branch of your choice. You have 2 years of time in your hand and I am sure that if you work hard, you will achieve your objective.

    Knowledge is power.
