    BHIM app is a mobile payment App developed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), based on the Unified Payments Interface (UPI). It was launched in the year 2016 and is a government initiative to encourage digital payments. I want to know the full form of BHIM.

    BHIM stands for Bharat Interface for Money. It is an APP that makes use of the NPCI gateway module for transacting through mobile phone. Here the Mobile number takes the identity of the user. And based on mobile number registered with the banks, the bank can be connected with the app. And then, the app can use the money from that respective account to send and receive the money. This was designed to make the cashless transactions through the mobile interface.
