    Can we file TDR for tickets booked in Tatkal on IRCTC

    If a train is delayed for more than 3 hours and one wants to cancel the journey due to this reason then one can submit an online TDR for all type of tickets whether confirmed or wait listed or booked under tatkal scheme.

    It should be filed immediately and not after the delayed departure of the train.

    It takes normally to get the refund to your account in 5-7 days and sometimes it can take even a longer like 10 days.
