How to change playback speed in YouTube videos?

Well, you should be able to change the playback speed through a couple of methods. Let us go through them here.

Through YouTube Settings

Click on the GEAR icon on the right bottom corner of the video. Now, choose Speed. This will help you to either speed up or slow down your video speed. If you are unable to find this option for any reason, you may have disabled the HTML enabled. You can go to YouTube HTML Setting and enable it.

Use VLC Media Player
You can stream the concerned video in VLC media player. Just copy the video link from YouTube and paste in the appropriate position in the VLC media player. You may either paste it under Media>Open Network Stream or Media>Convert/Save.
Once the video begins playing in the VLC media player, you can use the options Playback>Speed>Faster/Slower to change the speed settings for your video.
