Cheap and best smartphone under 5k

I could not find a device with 2GB RAM at the price point you suggested. Most of the devices in that range sport 1 GB of RAM. Having said that, here are a few picks -

1. Xolo Era HD

It has a 5 inch IPS LCD display at a HD resolution of 1280x720. Pixel density reads 294 ppi. The screen does not have any protection though. Asus Zenfone Go 4.5: If you choose to go with any phone under 5k, then this can be one good option. It has 5 MP rear end camera and 1MP front end camera. At 1GB RAM and 32GB internal disk space, I think it's good enough for casual usage. Processor of 1.3-GHz, quad-core MediaTek processor is good enough for this price range. From camera quality front, the device has some good performance. Being a dual SIM device with 3G support, it is definitely a good choice. It is priced at : 4800 Rs.

Lava A67: Device has 1.2GHz SC 7731C quad core processor. It has display size of 5 inch FWVGA TFT capacitive touchscreen. It has 512MB RAM and 4GB internal space. On that specification you may find very poor performance of the device. Device has camera of 5MP rear end and 2MP front end. The price of the device is : 3,949 Rs.

Karbonn K9 Smart: This device is 5 inch and has very unique design for this price range. It has dual SIM slot with support to GSM + WCDMA. Camera resolution is reasonable 3.2 MP rear end and 1MP front end camera. Processing power of 1.2GHz Dual Core Processor is also good for this price. Price of the device is 3,650 Rs.

Intex Aqua 4G : The device supports 4G LTE and at this price has a very good set of specifications. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and 4 inch size. It doesn't have the impressive camera as it has VGA front camera and 2MP rear end camera. Processing speed is reasonable at this price. And with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal space, it does get the job done. I think at the price of 3,499 Rs. It is good enough for casual smartphone usage.

Panasonic T45: Though there are not many favorable reviews for Panasonic, it does have some good specification for this price range. This 4.5'' inch FWVGA capacitive touchscreen display phone has 5MP primary camera and 0.3 MP rear end camera. On camera front you may not find it attractive. On performance front it has 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM internal space. Based on most of the reviewers on the youtube, the device is not that impressive performance wise. If you are under budget stress then you may find this The price of the device is : 4,869 Rs.

Do note that you may not get RAM above 1GB when your budget is under 5K. If you extend it above 7K onwards then you may get more options for the device with RAM higher than 1GB.
