  • Coolpad Note 3 Lite is not a bad choice. But if you are serious about going for the alternatives, here are a few –

    1. Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime
The RedMi 2 Prime is presumably made in India. You can get it in White and grey color variants, while there are options for various color shells. It does have a comfortable grip and easy to handle.
The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 . the clock speed is 1.2 GHz. You get a 2 GB RAM as opposed to the 1 GB RAM on the original Redmi 2. Memory also gets a bump to 16 GB. The graphics are handled by Adreno 306 GPU. Redmi 2 Prime comes with a 4.7 inch HD display. The resolution reads 1280x720. The 8 MP rear camera is capable of HD video recording at 1080p. It has a 2 MP front snapper for the selfies. The battery capacity reads 2200 mAh.
The phone has 4G connectivity on both SIMs along with the usual set of connectivity options like Bluetooth ( version 4.0), GPS and WiFi. The device does support USB OTG. The Redmi 2 Prime runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat with customization by MiUI 6.0 skin.
As for performance, it is quite good at what it is supposed to do. Image quality of the camera is impressive enough, though there are issues with auto focus at times.

    2. Intex Aqua Power+
The Intex Aqua Power+ comes with a 5.0 inch display with HD resolution at 1280x720. The device is powered by a 1.3 GHz quadcore processor. You have access to 2 GB of RAM.
The internal memory of the device reads 16 GB. You can expand it further by another 32 GB. You get a 13 MP rear camera with flash and autofocus. There is a 5 MP front snapper. As for connectivity features, it comes with the regular set of them – WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB OTG. The devie runs on Android Lollipop 5.0.
The best part with the smartphone is its 4000 mAh battery. It is stated to offer a 20 hours talktime and 500 hours of standby time.

    Honor Holly 2 Plus
Available in the similar price band, Honor Holly 2 Plus can be a better alternative as well. Though it comes under the basic smartphone category, it has good features. The device comes with a 5 inch displaywith HD resolution at 1280x720 pixels. It is powered by a quadcore processor at 1.3 GHz. You have a 2 GB onboard RAM - good enough by today's standards. You get 16 GB of internal storage that can be expanded by another 128 GB.
It has a 13 MP rear and 5 MP front cameras. Camera functionality is at par with the competing devices in the price range. The phone offers you dual SIM functionality with 4G support.
It runs on Android Lollipop with a Emotion UI. There have been a few negative reviews on the skin though. It packs in a massive 4000 mAh battery which should give you a huge backup.

Having compared all these devices with Coolpad Note 3, I still would recommend Coolpad Note Lite as the featured alternatives lack some of the features that Coolpad offers you.

    Live....and Let Live!

  • Coolpad Note 3 is one of those phone that has better specification with budget price. But the camera doesn't stand up to expectations compared to other brands at that price.

Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL : This is one good device if you are trying to find alternative to coolpad in terms of specifications alone. The device has 5.5' display. The best part is 13 MP Primary Camera. If you compare the camera quality with coolpad you'd find the zenfone much better. It is dual SIM phone with other hardware specifications pretty much on the same or slightly different.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 : Xiaomi has much better quality of the camera images compared to the Coolpad. The device has 5.5'' display IPS LCD. The device has MIUI 7 with latest android version. Also the network specifications include 4G LTE support. It has good battery performance as per reviews.

There are many other good phones within the budget range. I found Asus Zenfone and Redmi note 3 a good alternative for the Coolpad Note 3 device.

  • As per my opinion and my friends practical usage experience of the various Smartphones including Coolpad Note 3 Lite or Coolpad Note 3 etc. the cheap and best performance gadgets still are Coolpad Note 3 Lite or Coolpad Note 3 without any doubt. If you compare these beautiful handsets against other brand devices, whether it could be of Honor or Lenovo or even Samsung series, you will still like these Coolpad gadgets only.

Honor Holly though it comes nearest price but the performance comparison between these two (Honor Holly vs Coolpad Lite), you will still like the latter (Coolpad Lite) one. The 3GB RAM and 16GB ROM is still incomparable with other device. Prices too beside their real performances. Meizu also brought similar range device but still the first one gives lot of impression and the best result. So, you can still go with the first one.
