Samsung Galaxy A smartphone release date and price

Well, to begin with - Samsung Galaxy A is not a word denoting a single smartphone. The Galaxy A (2016) is used to designate the A series smartphones. Samsung has launched Galaxy A 3, A5 and A7 in the A series with a few new improvements.
The Galaxy A series smartphones stated above have been launched In India in December, 2015. It is one of the mid range smartphone series. The Galaxy A5 will cost you Rs. 29400 and the Galaxy A 7 costs Rs. 33400.

The series is a.new range with metal and glass combination. A brief description for each of the 2016 series Galaxy A range can be listed out as below -

Galaxy A3
It comes with a 4.7 inch screen. The display has a HD resolution at 1280x720. The device boasts of a super AMOLED display. Galaxy A3 is powered by a 1.5 GHz quadcore processor. You get 1.5 GB of onboard RAM and a 16 GB internal storage. The memory can be expanded upto another 128 GB. The device carries a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front snapper.
The smartphone does support Samsung Knox and provides a dual SIM option. The connectivity features on the device include WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1 and NFC. You will also get other regular features like microUSB, GPS and FM. The battery capacity reads 2300 mAh.

Galaxy A5
The second device in the series has a slightly larger 5.2,inch display. Unlike the A3, you get a full HD resolution here at 1920x1080 pixels. Dispaly technology remains similar to A3 ( and a host of Samsung devices). THe phone is powered by a 1.6 GHZ Octa-Core processor. It comes with a 2 GB RAM which can be treated as the adequate for the current needs. You get 16 GB internal memory that can be expanded by another 128 GB.
The Galaxy A5 has a dual SIM functionality. It does support Samsung Pay. The phone also carries a finger print sensor. The camera on the smartphone remains same as that on A3. It has all the connectivity features mentioned above under Galaxy A3. The device comes with a 2900 mAh battery backup.

Galaxy A7
Here comes the premium among the new 2016 series Galaxy A smartphone. It is the biggest of the lot at 5.5 inch screen. Display technology remains same as super AMOLED and the resolution reads full HD at 1920x1080. The smartphone is powered by a Octa-Core 1.6 GHZ processor. You get a 16 GB internal memory that can be expanded by another 128 GB. Galaxy A7 comes with a 3 GB RAM.
The camera stags same at 13 MP rear and 5 MP front.
The phone has a dual SIM functionality and does support Samsung Knox. You have access to Samsung Pay and finger print scanner options. It does carry all.the connectivity options that have been mentioned under Galaxy A3. The Galaxy A7 is powered by a 3300 mAh battery. It does support fast charging.

All the three Galaxy A series devices have new design language that has a combination of metal.and glass. Samsung claims that it has taken note of the consumer feedback and made a few improvements in the existing A series models. The camera now has optical image stabilisation. Both front and rear cameras across all the three devices have a bigger f/1.9 aperture that improves your images by letting more light into the camera.

All these three models got launched in China in last December 2015.
Samsung Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 (2016) smartphones were launched by the Korean Samsung in in the event of Southwest Asia Forum 2016 in Kuala Lumpur. The Samsung Galaxy A5 and A7 2016 edition smartphones will be available on all the retail stores since February 15 this year.
