  • Yes, the Lenovo K5 Plus smartphone does come with the support for USB OTG functionality. You can connect your external hard drives to the device and view the files stored them on your phone. However,it would be advisable to check to file format compatibility. If the file format on your Drive is not supported by the phone, you will need to format it to the required one. Make sure you have backed up all your data on the drive before formating.

  • Yes, Lenovo K5 Plus comes with OTG support. You will not get an OTG cable included but you can buy one for 2 bucks. It will help you connect all of your external devices to your device. I will recommend you to download ES File Explorer because it will help you to open all types of files or suggest you to download software for any incompatible file.

  • Lenovo K5 Plus has support for MicroUSB 2.0 and the USB on the go features. So obviously the model supports the OTG functionality. you can use the feature to both charge the device as well as for file transfer. You don't even need to use any PC suite to transfer the files. All you have to do is use the MicroUSB point to connect to PC and device.

You can read more about the OTG feature and other specs here: http://www.gsmarena.com/lenovo_vibe_k5_plus-7947.php

  • Yes, Lenovo K5 Plus supports MicroUSB 2.0. The USB has the "on the go" features activated which can be used both for charging the device and also for transferring the files. The best way to use the option is to connect the MicroUSB point with the PC and other devices. But you also need to check out the file formats supported in the phone to avoid the hazards.
