It is indeed a daunting task to find the best option in the price bracket mentioned. You have plenty of choices in this price bracket. Of the phones you mentioned, I would pick Le 1S, Lenovo K4 Note and Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 for comparison.
Looks and display
Well, all of them come with metal in construction. The Le 1S is presumably made from aircraft grade Aluminium. It looks the most premium device among the three. Lenovo K4 Note has a metal frame, but the back cover is polycarbonate and removable. RedMi Note 3 has full metal body with a decent look.
The best part with Lenovo K4 Note from design perspective is the positioning of speakers in the front. It gives best sound output. Le 1S has speakers at the lower edge, while Redmi Note 3 folows the traditional design of placing the speakers on back.
As for display, all of them come with 5.5 inch full HD display. The viewing angles are slightly better on Lenovo. Besides it has TheaterMax technology that improves your video viewing. Nevertheless, all three are equivalent when considered from display point of view.
Hardware
They come with processors from same manufacturer. Le 1S and Redmi Note 3 share the same MediaTek Helio X10 octacore processor at 2.2 GHz clock speed. Lenovo has MediaTek MT6753 octacore processor running it. The Le 1S has 3 GB of onboard RAM, while Redmi Note 3 comes with 2 GB and 3 GB variants. The Lenovo K4 Note has 3 GB RAM. Performance wise, all of them should be equal again. The internal storage on Le 1S is 32 GB while Lenovo has 16 GB of storage, but allows expansion upto 128 GB. Redmi Note 3 comes with no memory expansion options, but you can buy it in two variants of 16 and 32 GB. If you want more storage, Lenovo K4 Note would be the best choice.
Camera
The similarities do not stop there. Even the camera department has been identical with all the three carrying a 13 MP rear and a 5 MP front camera. Software differs though. Lenovo K4 Note camera has dual color flash and PDAF. The actual tests have revealed that Le 1S has better low light performance. As for front snappers, they have equal performance. Le 1S has wide angle lens and as such is good at taking decent selfies.
Battery and other features
Redmi Note 3 takes the leap here with a massive 4000 mAh battery. Lenovo K4 Note has a 3400 mAH capacity, while Le 1S has the least at 3000 mAh. Le 1S has fast charging ability which the other two lack. Le says a charge of 5 minutes will be enough for 3.5 hours of talktime. All three have the regular connectivity features except the NFC which is absent on Le 1S, but available on the other two. Le 1S has the USB –C port and the other two competing devices lack it The finger print scanner on all the three devices is positioned on the rear side. Le 1S has a mirror finish on the scanner to protect it against scratches.
Price and availability
Lenovo K4 Note is costliest among the three at Rs. 11499, while Le 1S is priced at Rs. 10999. The RedMi Note 3 is scheduled for March launch and expected to cost around Rs. 10200 to 10500. As for after sales service, Le 1S is quite new of the lot and it will be a wait and see game. Lenovo and Xiaomi have proved their after sales service potential as of now. With specifications and performance being quite equivalent, it all depends on individual choice.
