    Does Yu Yunique Support USB 3.0 OTG pen drive with backward compatible USB 2.0


    Having problems with OTG support for your Yu Yunique smartphone? Get expert advice on this problem.

    I am planning to buy a Scandisk pendrive which supports USB 3.0 and it says backward_compatible is USB 2.0? Does Yu Yunique support OTG in this situation?

    Yes you can use USB 3.0 storage option with Yu Yunique. All USB 3.0 devices comes with USB 2.0 technology as well which will help you use your storage via same OTG cable you were using before. But you will have to compromise with Reading and Writing speed it will not be same as USB 3.0 port.

    Well, yes - the Yu Yunique does support USB 3.0 storage devices. You can use the devices to read your USA 3.0 enabled external drives to view the files stored on them on your phone.

    YU Yunique has support for microUSB v2.0 & 3.0, USB Host OTG support. So yes officially this device and any other device in future will support the OTG cable. You can read additional support specs on the GSM Arena page.
