Hp launched this special edition notebook in collabration with Star Wars, The force awakens movie which will be hitting the screens on December 18 and now these are the details specifications.

Design

It is a 15.6-inch 1920 x 1080 screen notebook ( better to call it a Laptop ) with aluminuim comprised of a 4K display which will give a stunning visuals. As I above said it is special edition with star wars, so you will see the body with star wars graphics mostly and its kind of good looking and if youre a star wars fan, you will love it. Also with red backlight on keyboard it will give you the feel of starwars laser swords.

Specifications

With 2.3 GHz Intel I5 and 6 GB RAM with a 1 TB Hard disk and 128 MB Intel HD Graphics will proove its worth at this price range.Though the specifications looks mediocare but this was built keeping in the mind of special edition, so much focus has been on display and body and low on spec's.

With Windows 10 64 bit pre loaded and other options like WIFI , Bluetooth ( 4.0 ) are included and by the first impression and reviews written in top websites like Cnet, verge, it looks like the battery performance is not so good.

For $699.99 , you will get intel I5 with 6 GB RAM. For $749.99, you will get intel 6th gen I5 with 8 GB RAM and for $999.99 you will get intel 6th gen I7 processor and also intel graphics will be replaced by NVIDIA GeForce 940M 2GB Discrete Graphics and with a 8GB RAM.

There are three different editions of HP Star Wars notebook released with very specific configuration and price.

1. HP Pavilion x2 Notebook (Model No.10-n028TU) - This is the first basic model at the price of Rs 24,990. Model has basic processor of Intel Atom Processor Z3736F. This model doesn't have the Windows 10 OS and instead Windows 8.1 is into it. The reason being the model offers touch display On the memory front it has 2GB RAM and 64 GB HDD. I think for those who do't mind Windows 8 for day to day operation may find this model affordable.

2. HP Pavilion x360 Notebook (Model No.13-s101TU) - This model has memory of around 4GB RAM with 1TB HDD. This model has Windows 10 Home operating system installed. Processor is relatively stable, with 6th Generation Intel Core i5-6200U Processor. Display is small for the price offered and at 13.3" this may not be a good model for the developers or designers. This model is more of medium scaled laptop priced at Rs57,990.

3. HP Pavilion 15 Notebook (Model No. an003TX) - Just like earlier model this too has 6th Generation Intel Core i5 Processor in it. The product also include Windows 10 Home edition. The memory of around 8GB RAM and 1TB HDD with Nvidia, 2GB Graphics. The configurations are impressive and good enough for the developers and designers. The screen size is 15'' and the anti-glare full HD ready. The price is a bit high yet competitive for the specs offered. Cost: Rs69,990.

If you have to choose in between these models. Either go with the basic model or the high priced model. The 13'' model is not impressive for developers and designers.

HP has released the special edition Star wars notebook in association with Star Wars in view of the upcoming Star Wars episode 7.
It is a usual 15.6 inch HP Pavilion Notebook. What sets it apart and makes it a special edition device is the special star wars skin. It features the star wars setup complete with the Empire, Darth Wader and storm troopers. What's more, it also comes with digital content centered around Star wars.
