Meizu M2 is a budget Smartphone which was released this September. Here are the details Specifications of this mobile.

CPU - 1.3 GHz Quad-Core Processor running on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Mediatek Chipset.

Memory -- 16 GB internal memory and 2 GB RAM and also has an option for Memory Card Slot which can handle up to 128 GB.

Battery - With 2500 mAH Li-Po Battery this can withstand working day easily.

Connectivity- 3G,4G, Bluetooth version 4.0 and USB 2.0 and GPS enabled.

Everything Looks well and nice. The price of this SmartPhone is Rs6999. The availability of this mobile is the main concern.

Finally, Specifications wise this looks is a top notch. The only thing which I don't like is the Mediatek chipset which they used. Personally am not a fan of that chipset. Everything else looks Good.

Meizu M2 is based on Flyme OS (It's a mod bult on top of Android just like MIUI of Xiaomi). And for that reason you are not going to get core android apps by default. And you're more likely to have few UI changes as compared to core android. So if you wish to use the Meizu phones then be ready to adopt to FlymeOS. It is beautiful OS and you're going to love as you use it.

Here are a few important points as far as Meizu M2 is concerned-

Design and Display
The design resembles iPhone to a larger extent. Meizu has continued to have same design elements. There is a single physical button on the front. It works both as Home and Back buttons. Tapping on it makes it a Back button and holding it down works as a Home button.
It features a 5 inch HD screen at 1280x720 resolution. The screen offers you a Asahi Dragontail protection. Sunlight legibility has an issue and also the viewing angles are not upto the mark. The screen offers you a pixel density of 294 ppi.
The device is 131 grams in weight and the curved design makes it comfortable to handle.


Hardware and software
The device is powered by a MediaTek MT6735 quad core processor that runs at a speed of 1.3 GHz. Graphics are handled by Mali-T720MP2 GPU. Meizu M2 carries 2 GB on board RAM which is quite impressive at the current standards. The internal storage is 16 GB of which 10 GB is available for user. You can expand it by another 128 GB using a microSD card.
The device runs on FlyMe OS 4.5. It is based on Android Lollipop 5.1. Customisation is quite heavy. A lot of changes done in OS seem quite superficial and does not serve any useful purpose. Settings menu has a two layered interface. A few built in apps are meant and useful in China, but sadly enough - they can't be uninstalled.

Camera
Meizu M2 carries a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front snapper. Both the cameras are capable of HD video recording at 1080p. You get access to many different modes like HDR, Auto, Panorama and others. You have a slow motion setting as well.
Camera app is a bit slower. Switching between different modes takes a little time. Colors are a bit dull. Photos in low light as well as good light lack details.

Battery, connectivity and other features
The Meizu M2 has a 2500 mAh battery. The battery life is average. You get just 9 hours of backup in a video loop test. Moderate usage should provide you a full day backup.
It is a 4G phone in the budget range. Though the phone has dual SIM functionality, you may need to sacrifice the feature if you want expandable memory.

You can buy the device at Rs. 6999. The phone is quite feature packed at the under 7000 price bracket.
