To install ClockWorkMod recovery on your Micromax Canvas Spark, you will need to
root your Canvas Spark first. Follow these steps to do so -
1. Download the Framaroot app from http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/framaroot/root-framaroot-one-click-apk-to-root-t2130276. You may also use Kingroot 4.0.0 aswell for the purpose.
2. Install it on your device.
3. Install
SuperUser.
4. Select an Exploit and wait. If it fails select the next Exploit.
5. Once successful, you will get a message stating that the super user permission has been granted.
This means your device has been rooted.
Now , follow these steps to install CWM recovery -
1. Download ClockWorkMod recovery from http://www.clockworkmod.com/rommanager.
2. Copy the recovery file to your internal or external memory.
3. Download and install
Flashify app from https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cgollner.flashify.
4. Open the
Flashify app and accept the disclaimer.
5. Locate
Flash tab and browse to the CWM recovery image you just downloaded.
6. Confirm the Flash Recovery? box.
7. Tap on
Yup and wait the flashing completes.
8. Reboot your device and you are done.
