Yes, Micromax Canvas Fire 4G really supports the OTG cable functionality. The users may feel free to connect their external USB drive on it. They can easily view the data of their USB drive on their smartphone using the OTG cable.

Communication from Micromax has indicated that the Canvas Fire 4G supports USB OTG functionality. You can connect your external drives to the Canvas Fire 4G and view the files stored on them on your phone.
Take care to check for the supported file formats as some of the file formats may not be supported. If that is the case with you, I would suggest you to take a complete backup of all files on your external drive and format it.
