Yunique is the fourth device coming from Yu Televentures after
Yureka, Yuphoria and Yureka Plus. Here are some specification details of the phone -
Design
Yunique has carried forward the design language of Yu Yuphoria. With the physical dimensions of 134 5x 67 5x8.3 mm. The power button has been placed between the volume rockers. The three buttons are sandwiched together. It has metallic sides.
Display
The phone sports a 4.7 inch HD screen at 1280x720 resolution. IPS display offers better viewing angles and good sunlight legibility. The display provides a comfortable pixel density of 312 ppi. The screen has protection by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Physical buttons are replaced by the onscreen navigation buttons.

Yunique is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor. The clock speed of the processor reads 1.2 GHz. Adreno 306 takes care of the graphics needs of the device. 1 GB RAM is quite impressive at this price point. The LPDDR4 RAM ensures efficient management of the resources. Internal memory of the phone is a paltry 8 GB of which just 4 GB is available for user. Processor is 64 bit compatible which means efficient RAM management and effective operational ability. The memory can be expanded by another 32 GB via microSD card.
Camera
The device comes with a rear camera of 8 MP resolution. It comes with autofocus and LED flash. Other camera features include face detection, HDR and Panorama. The camera interface is simple and easy. Yunique runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box. Surprisingly, it has skipped the Cyanogen OS this time. However, Yu has claimed that users can flash the Cyanogen 12.1 on the device if they wish. The phone is powered by a 2000 mAh capacity. Company has claimed that it can provide 7 hours talk time and 271 hours of standby time. Yu has priced the device at Rs. 4999. It is exclusive available on  SnapDeal. Registrations have begun from September 8. The sale will go live on September 15.
