  • How to resolve Lenovo A7000 touch screen problem?

Having problems with the touch screen of your Lenovo A7000 smartphone? Get expert guidance to resolve the issue.

In June, 2015 I bought Lenovo A7000-a from Flipkart and it has been hardly 3 months and I am already facing touch problem. What is the procedure to resolve this issue other than going to a service centre? Due to some reason I cannot hand this phone over to anyone for 15 days. So I need some temporary solution. When I asked and joined their smartphone's forum I was asked to download some sort of app and check whether the issue is resolved or not. But it din't work. Please let me know if you have some suggestion.

  • Whatsoever, even considering your question, I suggest you to go to Lenovo service center with its bill and rectify the issue within warranty period. The similar case happened to my friend who was having Samsung Galaxy Note that couldn't be solved from any apps guideline given online nor it solved from local technician as check up for nominal amount (Rs 300) with non-guarantee words of solution etc.

We thus finally landed to Samsung service nearby, they assisted us with great solution and replaced some parts. They even given it back within 2 hours of service without any charges, which is perfectly working right now for a long duration without any tech issue. Don't fall prey anywhere and don't install any software/apps right now to correct it.

    Regards,

  • Reset your phone. Then check the stability of you phone. If this did not work then you have to contact the service center of Lenovo.

  • Your device is new and still in condition for replacement. I don't think this is any software problem. Most likely that app is diagnostic app to check if your software is faulty or the hardware. And as that app didn't worked for you which means you have to replace the hardware or device. I think first mode of action is contact the service station online. And from there you can get the idea of what to do next. You'll be asked to visit nearby service center. Most likely they may repair the device or if it is not repairable then they may give you new device of same model and specs. The things won't be that easy to escalate mostly. So you have to keep some patience and also keep in loop with the service center and customer support.

  • I would suggest you to follow the below mentioned steps to check if it can be resolved.

    1. Update your phone software to the latest one available.
    2. Factory reset your device to check if the issue goes off.
    3. Install Lenovo Companion app from Play store and run screen test.

If you find the issue still persisting, you will need to contact the local service centre.
