Does Microsoft Lumia 640 support OTG cable?

Right now, the Lumia 640 does not support USB OTG. However, Microsoft has announced that the OTG functionality will be enabled with the upgrade to Windows 10 platform. Yet, there is no word as of now on the exact availability after the update.
