Here is a comparative analysis between
Lenovo K3 Note and Yu Yureka Plus -
Design and display Lenovo K3 Note features a 5.5 inch HD IPS LCD screen just like Yu Yureka Plus. There is no much difference between the two as far as viewing angles and outdoor visibility is concerned. Yureka Plus takes a lead in terms of toughness because of the Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Lenovo K3 Note lacks the protection. Physical dimensions read
154.8 x 78 x 6-8.5 mm and 152.6 x 76.2 x 8 mm respectively for Yureka Plus and Lenovo Note.
My Take - Yureka Plus takes a slight lead here with its protection.
Performance Yureka Plus has employed the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octacore processor found in the original Yureka. Being Being a 64 Bit processor, you are assured of getting a better performance and RAM management. You get a good clock speed of 1.7 GHz. However, we may also note the processor has had heating issues. Lenovo K3 Note is powered by MediaTek MT6752 octacore processor at the same 1.7 GHz clock speed. Though the processor may give rise to doubts, yet it has good processing power.
My Take - I would consider
Lenovo K3 Note a winner here because of a slight better processing power.
Memory Both the devices come with 16 GB internal memory. Also they support memory expansion via microSD card upto 32 GB. Even the on board RAM is equal at 2 GB on both phones. You can install a multitude of apps and save a large number of files.
My Take - It would be a tie here as both the devices are equivalent in all respects.
Camera You get a 13 MP rear camera on both the devices. Yureka Plus offers you a LED flash while Lenovo K3 Note comes with dual LED flash. Both the phones come with 5 MP front snapper.
Lenovo has always excelled with its camera functionality. Meanwhile the better camera sensor from Sony on Yureka Plus makes it a better option. Either of them would be a good choice as far as camera is concerned.
My Take - Once again it is a tie here.
Software Yureka Plus runs on Cyanogen OS 12 based on Android Lollipop. Lenovo K3 Note runs on Android Lollipop 5.0.2 with customisation by its Vibe UI. Cyanogen OS offers you great customisation options. You can be sure of getting timely, faster and regular updates to the OS rather than the official updates released updates provided by manufacturers.
My Take - Yureka Plus will be my choice in terms of software solely because of the customisation offered by Cyanogen OS.
Battery Battery capacity on Yureka Plus is 2500 mAh compared to the mammoth 3000 mAh battery on Lenovo K3 Note. With both the phones having same resolution and similar screen, Lenovo K3 Note should give you better backup.
My Take - My vote here would go to Lenovo K3 Note for the obvious reason.
