  • I would recommend the following Ebook readers for a better experience -

    1. Kindle -
Being the trendsetter in Ebook reader space, Kindle is the top name among the contemporary readers. Having a clutter free interface and great usability, the app has best collection of ebooks. Downside, however, is you cant get many free ebooks on it.

    2. Flipkart Ebooks
This is my all time favourite. It has a good collection of Indian authors. You can also get good ebooks for free, or for a nominal price. Major plus point of the app is, in addition to being a premium reader for Indian users - it can also be used as a default Ebook reader for your personal downloaded collection.

    3. Aldiko
One of the popular Ebook readers, it has support for multiple formats. Just like Flipkart Ebooks, it can be used as a default reader for your device.

    4. Kobo
This one has an extensive library. It is unique in itself as it gamifies the reading experience. But, the books available on it are quite expensive.

    5. Rockstand
This is the most basic Ebook reader available. Book library is a bit limited. It has a good Indian collection. Pricing of the books is quite low.

  • Currently I am using both Flipkart eBook application for Android and Kindle by Amazon for reading e books. I personally feel Flipkart eBook reader application is better than Kindle. The variety of functionality given in Flipkart ebook application is better than Kindle.

  • My personal preference is with Kindle and Kobo. Kindle being home of a lot more ebooks than any other site. You get free books too. The amazon free books library lets you view free books and you don't have to pay for it. They also have lending library where you lend book for some time and read as much as you want. Then again there are some other like FBReader and Adobe which are good apps for reading the PDF content. Most of the books being epub or mobi, I think you should choose kindle instead.

  • Here are some ebook reader apps for Android :

    1. Amazon Kindle.
    2. Google Play Books.
    3. NOOK.
    4. Kobo eBooks.
    5. Aldiko Book Reader.
    6. BitLit.
