    Does Microsoft Lumia 540 support OTG cable?

    Microsoft has launched the Lumia 540 dual SIM phone on Thursday at Rs 10,199. The Microsoft Lumia 540 dual SIM comes with a 5-inch HD display and runs on Windows Phone 8.1 OS, which is upgradeable to Windows 10 Mobile OS. So does Microsoft Lumia 540 support OTG cable or not ?

    Windows 8.1 is said to be able to support OTG. A recent leak from Microsoft has revealed that OTG support will be supported on Windows 8.1. So, by that logic, Lumia 540 should have OTG support though I cant be sure.

    Yes, Lumia 540 supports the OTG cable. So you can happily connect a USB or a pendrive to the device easily. Windows Phone 8.1 finally supports the OTG cable to connect pendrive.

    As of now, Microsoft Lumia 540 doesn't have USB OTG support. However, we may get this feature after the release of Windows 10.
