Design -
With physical dimensions of 142.4 x 73 x 8.2-9.35 mm, Yuphoria is smaller than its big brother Micromax Yu Yureka . It weighs 143 grams. It will be available in two color variants of Buffed Steel and Champagne Gold. The smartphone features an all metal build. Back cover is made of thin cover of plastic which is quite flimsy. Camera is centered which gives Yuphoria a unique look. The microUSB port and headphone jack are centered at bottom and top respectively. Volume buttons are placed on either side of the power button which makes it standout from the crowd.
Display -
The phone has 5 inch 720p IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1280. Display looks quite pleasant and has good outdoor visibility. The display reproduces vibrant colors. The viewing angles are quite good. The phone has on screen navigation buttons which again is a unique feature. The screen has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Software -
The phone – like its predecessor runs on Cyanogen OS 12 based on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. Software issues observed in Yureka have been taken care of and sorted out. Though the Android layout has been maintained, Yu has added some additional Cyanogen features.
