Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 specs and details

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is still in its nascent stages. Likely to be released in June, the new tablet has a lot of rumour mills churning out leaks and leaks about the possible specifications.

Look and feel -
Expected to come is a 8 inch screen size ( some leaks suggest a possible 9.7 inch), the device will be an all metal body at 5.4 mm thickness. It is supposed to have a resolution of 2048x1536 with Super AMOLED touch screen. Rumours have been suggesting that the device will come in two variants of screen sizes as mentioned above.

Hardware -
The new tab will be powered by a new 64 biy Exynos processor. Internal memory of the device will be 32 GB. It will have 3 GB RAM to take care of multitasking. The tab will come with an expandable memory slot.

Camera -
The device will have a 8 MP rear camera and a 2.1 MP front camera.

Software -
The tab will ship with Android Lollipop 5.0.2, the latest from Google.

The device is likely to be announced and launched worldwide along with India in June. It is too early to predict the exact pricing of the device as nothing concrete has yet been revealed by Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will be slimmer than the iPad Air 2. It is expected to come in two variants which are a 9.7 inch display and a 8.0 inch display. The 9.7 inch variant will be 237.1 x 168.8 x 5.4 mm in dimensions and around 407 grams in weight. Whereas the 8.0 inch variant slate is likely to come up with the dimensions of 198.2 x 134.5 x 5.4 mm and 260 grams of weight. The display will be super Amoled so we can look forward for bright and vibrant images. The 9.7 inch slate will have 264 PPI whereas the other one is expected to have 320 PPI. If the rumors comes to true then it will be a great contender to iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3. Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will have an 8 MP rear camera and a 2.1 MP clear camera on the front side. The 9.7 inch variant is likely to be powered by a 5870 mAh battery whereas the 8.0 inch variant will have a 3580 mAh battery. Both the versions are expected to run on Android 5.0.2 and octa-core Exynos 5433 processor. The internal storage space of this tab will be 32 GB. The tab will comes loaded with 3 GB of RAM.
