  • You are right. Google is working with Android Developers to port their apps to Chrome OS via "App Runtime for Chrome (Beta)". The project is still in its beta stage.

    To run Android Apps on Chrome OS or Chromebook, you have to download the ported apps from - However, you may face some glitches while running these apps.

    Some of the popular apps are Evernote, Vine, OneDrive etc.
