Asus Pegasus X002 was announced in December, 2014 and is going to release in the month of May, 2015.

This smartphone is going to come with the stylish look with the dimensions of 146 x 73 x 9.9 mm (5.75 x 2.87 x 0.39 in). The device weighs around 140 grams. It supports Dual-SIM.

Display
It will outshine with the IPS capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors of 5.0 inches which supports the resolutions of 720 x 1280 pixels and has 294 of an average PPI.

Platform
It will operate on the Android OS, v4.4 (KitKat). It is powered with Mediatek MT6732, Octa-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 processor and 2 GB of RAM. It has a GPU of Mali-T760MP2.

Memory
It will have the internal storage space of 16 GB the maximum external storage space via microSD card up to 32 GB.

Camera
It will offer you with the primary camera of 8 MP, 3264 x 2448 pixels with Auto-focus and LED flash features. Some more camera related features are Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection and panorama. You can also record the HD videos with it. It also offers you with a secondary camera of 5 MP.

Sound & Connectivity
As common this smartphone will also have a 3.55 mm of audio jack and a loudspeaker for better sound quality. It also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot feature, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS and microUSB v2.0.

Other Features
It will come loaded with three sensors which are Accelerometer, proximity and compass. Some messaging related features of this smartphone are SMS(threaded view), MMS, Email, Push Email and IM. It doesn't supports Java but it supports HTML 5 as the browser.

It is powered by the powerful Li-Ion 2500 mAh battery which promises you to give the Stand-by Up to 174 h (3G) and the Talk time Up to 17 h 40 min (3G).

It will be available to buy in various colors such as Black, White, Red and Gold.

Design
Physical dimensions of the device are 146x73x9. 9 mm. It weighs 140 grams. The device is supposed to come in four color variants of black, white, red and gold.
Display
The phone features a 5 inch IPS display at 720x1280 resolution. The pixel density of the screen is 294 ppi.
Hardware
The new Pegasus will be powered by 64 bit Octacore processor from MediaTek MT6732 with the clock speed of 1.5 GHz. The graphics are taken care of by Mali T760MP2 GPU. The device has 2 GB of on board RAM which is a bit low compared to recent launches. Internal memory of the phone is an impressive 16 GB which can be expanded upto 64 GB via microSD card.

Camera
The device sports a 8 MP rear camera at 3264x2448 resolution. The camera features include auto focus along with LED flash. Other features of the camera are geotagging, face detection and panorama. The rear camera has ultra picture quality mode. This ensures clearer pictures. The phone also carries a 5 MP front camera for video chatting and selfie needs.

Software
The phone comes with Android Kitkat 4.4. The stock android is customised by ZenUI. It also has some Asus specific apps.

The phone operates on dual SIM. It supports 4G LTE on one SIM. Other connectivity features are WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, FM radio and microUSB. It carries accelerometer, Proximity sensor and ambient light sensor. Battery capacity of the phone is 2500 mAh. The device has a stand bye time of 174 hours on 3G and a talk time of 17 hours on 3G.

Pricing
The phone is being launched in India in May, 2015. Exact pricing is yet to be announced, but rumours suggest a price of Rs.8000. ASUS is targeting RedMi series with this launch.
