How to download and use Gmail in Windows phone

Though I have never used a Windows Phone, here is what I could find when I searched for the solution-
1. Tap on People tile either on homescreen or app drawer.
2. Tap the 3 dots to bring up Menu.
3. Tap on Settings.
4. Tap on and then tap on Google
5. Enter your Google credentials and tap Sign In.
6. Tap Back and come back to your accounts. Tap Gmail to adjust settings.
7. You can adjust the sync interval and other settings for your gmail account here.

The above steps are for Windows phone 7.5. There could be slight changes in the latest version.

You can download Gmail for Windows Phone from this link - http://www.windowsphone.com/en-in/store/app/gmail/51bd99f9-41a8-4dda-95fe-1aad48d36bf6 . But you have to pay 55 Rupees for it. The App is compatible with Windows Phone 8.1, Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 7.5 OS.

It is better to set-up Gmail account on your Nokia Lumia 530. Because Gmail App is not free for Windows user and also you have to pay Rs 55 to use it as Muddassir informed. If you like there are many free client app available for windows phone to use as Gmail app. But its easy and free way to set up Gmail account on your phone like you do on outlook on your PC.

Procedure to set up Gmail account on Nokia Lumia 530.
Go to settings
Tap on email + accounts
Tap on add an account
Tap on Google >> Gmail>>Connect
Enter your email address and password. Select Sign in
Scroll down and Tap on Accept

You are ready to access your Gmail on your Nokia Lumia 530.

Please note that setting up Gmail account is different than Gmail App.
