  • They both are almost same with only minimal differences. The major differences which I found is :-
    • The battery capacity of Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is more than Samsung Galaxy S6 by only 50 mAh as S6 Edge has 2600 mAh and S6 has 2550 mAh.
    • The other difference is in their weight size, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is lighter than Samsung Galaxy S6 by only 6 grams. As the weight of S6 Edge is 132 g whereas the weight of S6 is 138 g.

I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seem to have.

  • Key differences between S6 and S6 Edge are as follows -

    Battery

The S6 Edge has a slightly larger battery. The battery capacity of S6 is 2550 may,  while that on S6 Edge is 2600 mAh. This is a small difference, so one can't make out the significance of this move.

    Weight

Edge is little lighter than the S6. Though it has a bit larger dimensions than the S6, the Edge version weighs 132 grams while S6 weighs 138 grams.

    Thickness

Again Edge is thicker than the S6. S6 is 6.8mm thick and the Edge is 7.0 mm. Though this 0.2mm does not make much of a difference, it is worth mention.

    Look and Feel

This aspect could be dependent on individual preferremces,  but the Edge looks and feels much better than the S6. Maybe because we are witnessing a new concept of curved sides.

    Software

The Edge has some additional software features for the curved screen. Time is displayed on the edge even when the phone is asleep. There is also a feature named People panel. You can assign your favourite contacts here. You will also be able to assign a specific color to a particular contact. The device emits the light of that particular color when that person calls you.
These are the differences we can find from the spec sheets provided, the actual differences, if any, in terms of performance will only be evident after the device launches on April, 10.
