How to apply for SBI Internet banking online?

You cannot apply for SBI internet banking by online request. You need to visit the branch and submit the application form for the purpose. Follow these steps-

1. Visit your home branch and submit the application for activation of netbanking.

2. Once you complete these formalities, you will be given the internet banking kit. The kit contains the username, password and kit number.

3. Visit www.onlinesbi.com and login with the username and password provided in the kit.  

4. In the next screen, change the username and password to the ones of your choice. You need to enter the kit number here.

Done! Your netbanking service will be activated. You can login with your new credentials during subsequent visits to your netbanking account.

If you want to apply for internet banking then you must contact the branch where you have opened your account. They will make you to fill a form and after that within some days the transaction password, login password will reach the address mentioned by you in the form.
