  • The following Galaxy series devices could be of interest to you under the Rs.10 K price band -

    Samsung Galaxy Core Prime

The best brand is back in sub-10k segment with this good device. The phone has nothing to boast of, but quite decent with its hardware and features.

    Features
    • The device runs on Quadcore 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 processor and has 1 GB of RAM.
    • It sports a 480 x 800 resolution 4.5 inches screen.

    Samsung Galaxy Core 2

Core 2 is one of the devices that came with Android Kitkat out of the box. Capable of competing with the likes of Moto G, this can be a good buy under 10K.

    • The 2000 mAh battery offers a decent performance.

    Samsung Galaxy S Duos 3

The main difference between the earlier  S Duos 2 is this one runs Android KitKat.

    • Internal memory of the device is 4 GB that can be expanded using microSD card.
    • It runs on Android KitKat with TouchWiz Essence UI.
    • Battery capacity is a meagre 1500 mAh.

    Price

    My Choice

Given the fact that almost most of the Galaxy series phones under Rs. 10000 band are of entry level smartphones in nature, I would zero-in on Core Prime. It has some decent specifications to match the best in its genre. Also please note that there is no dearth of high end phones in this price band, notable of them being Yu Yureka and Xiaomi Note 4G. But if you are a Samsung loyalist and would want to own a Galaxy series, then Core Prime would be good choice.

    Live....and Let Live!
