How to create my own Facebook store online instead of a e-commerce website?

Want to set up a Facebook e-store? Know if this is possible and how to do so from our tech experts.

I was planning to start selling ladies footwear and purses online for quite sometime by starting my own e-commerce website. However, I also understand that it is possible to start selling online directly on Facebook i.e. it is possible to create my own online Facebook ecommerce store. If yes, how can I setup my Facebook store online? Can I use it only to target Facebook audience or even Twitter audience and Google+ audience? Please share your views.

To setup your Facebook store, you need to create Facebook page first. You can easily create page using your existing Facebook account. In the page you will get option to setup Facebook store. Facebook store is not a dedicated website but a tab in your created Facebook page.

Creating Facebook store

It requires some technical knowledge to create a store. For example listing product and allowing user to buy. You can do it by using Facebook app.

There are several websites offer the Facebook app service. Shopify, Bigcommerce, Wix to list a few.

Audience

You can attract only Facebook audience through the store. Hope there will some plug-in or extensions which help you share the contents of Facebook to Google+ and Twitter.
