That has been my point since long. How can an author just post things without even checking the authenticity of the info he has been posting? Just adding a few words like "awesome" doesn't increase the quality of your posts.

It depends. As an engineering student I can say that nowadays, laptops are an essential instrument for engineering studies. We all depends on our laptops for studying and research.

I couldn't tell you which laptop is best for your sister until you mention the following things. Her branch of engineering, budget and usage [ I mean whether the laptop is required for coding kind of stuff or graphic designing or gaming, etc...].

If she is a Computer science student like me, get her a good laptop so that she could use it even after the studies. Electronics engineers and civil engineers require lot of designing works like pcb design, circuit design, CAD, etc... So that may require a laptop with good RAM and graphical performance.
