  • How to resolve the issue of 'clear cache' and get the contents of the webpage opened?

Are you facing some issues with certain webpages not loading correctly and getting the "clear your browser's cache" messages? Then read this post to know how to fix this problem.

I use a Desktop computer. I am facing with the problem of getting a message of the 'clear cache.....' (for ex., Cache-Control: private Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8 Server: Microsoft-IIS/7.5 X-AspNet-Version: 4.0.30319 Set-Cookie: vc=15; path=/ X-Powered-By: ASP.NET Date: Thu, 15 Jan 2015 14:32:26 GMT Content-Length: 28393) on browsing a webpage. For instance, after I open India study channel home page and click on the other Tabs like "Forum", the above message is displayed. Even when refreshed also, some times the page gets opened but the problem persists. I even tried to clear browsing history but the problem doesn't seems to be resolved. I use Google Chrome for browsing purpose.

PS: I have already uninstalled and re-installed Google Chrome but I am not able to fix the problem.

Can anyone suggest me some solution for this?

  • This is a very common problem faced by the regular browsers of some webpages. On browsing those web pages, temporary files are automatically generated and the C Drive containing the program files of your PC becomes filled with these files and may run short of the minimum required space. As a result, you are prompted to clear the cache on browsing a webpage.

Firstly , to resolve this issue, you have to click on the 'Menu' tab of your browser. Then go to - 'Tools' and click on the 'clear browsing data'. Then check the desired items to be cleared from the history of the browsing data and mark ' the obliterate the following items' pop up menu with 'the beginning of the time'. Don't forget to check the 'clear cached images and files'. Click on the 'clear browsing data'. This would help in resolving the issue.

In the present situation, even after doing the exercise, the issue has not been resolved and the user finds the problem repeated.

Now, try to clear the unwanted files from the C-drive and also delete the MS cache folder, if automatically generated containing the temporary folders. This would be a hidden folder. This needs to be deleted and cleared from the Recycle bin also. This would definitely resolve the problem.
