  • How to arrange apps in folders in Moto G2 smartphone?

Do you use Moto G2 smartphone? Read this thread to know the complete procedure to categorize and manage various apps on your smartphone.

I use Moto G2 and I use few shopping apps like Nykaa, Amazon, Snapdeal; eBook apps like Wattpad, Manga reader; mailing apps like Yahoo and Gmail. All apps are seen in the menu. Like in iPhone, do the android phones have facility to arrange the apps in different folders for easy access? Are there any applications which can arrange apps according to their category?

  • Android does not allow you to create folders within the App Drawer. Apps will appear in the order you install them, or in an alphabetical order.
However, you can group similar apps into a folder on your Homescreen(s). To do this, follow these steps-
  • Long press on the app you want to create a folder for and drag it to the homescreen.
  • Long press on another app of same category, or the one you want to place in the same folder, and drag it on the previous app.
  • Repeat the same procedure for all the apps to be placed in a single folder
  • Once done, Tap on the the group you just created, Tap on Unnamed Folder, Type in the name for the folder and Tap Done.
  • Follow the same procedure to create another folder.
