  • ViewSonic V55 will be the first smartphone which has IRIS scanning technology. It means, only the owner can unlock it using his/her eye-print.

    OS : It is not revealed yet but according to some sources, it runs on Android OS.
    Processor : ViewSonic V55 has 64-bit Snapdragon quad-core processor and its clock speed is 1.4GHz.
    Display : ViewSonic V55 has 5.5 inch full-HD OGS display with the resolution of 1080x1920 pixels.

  • Viewsonic has announced their smartphone V55 less than a week ago and there is no complete info available on the specifications yet.
    However, teasers from the company have indicated the following specifications are speculated:

    1. 64 bit snapdragon quad core processor 1.4 GHz
    2. Adreno 306 GPU
    3. Internal memory will be in 16 GB and 32 GB variants. There is no word on expandable memory.
    4. 2 GB RAM
    5. A 5.5 inch HD display at 1080 X 1920 resolution.
    6. 13 MP Sony rear camera , no word about the front camera details yet. Rumours say the phone will sport a 2MP front camera.
    7. No specific information has been provided about the OS as of now , but rumours say it would be Android Lollypop 5.0

    Most important attraction would be the introduction of IRIS technology , by which the the device can only be unlocked by the owner. Even the important files and folders can be protected using the iris scanner.

    The new phablet is expected to be launched at CES 2015. Price details are not yet out.
