My cousin wants to buy a smartphone. However, his budget is not large and he is looking for a good smartphone within 5k. He is not bothered about the camera features or fancy apps or games. All he wants, other than for sending messages and calls, is a smartphone with Wi-Fi to check emails and connect to the net generally.

    Dual SIM with Dual Standby
    5MP Autofocus Camera
    Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and 1600 mAh battery

This device offers a smooth browsing and better video calling experience when compared with its other counterparts at this price level.

  • I can suggest the following phones under Rs 5,000:

    1. Spice Stellar Nhance Mi-435
    2. Karbonn Titanium S2 plus

Both devices are 3G and WiFi enabled. Both have similar internal memory of 512MB RAM, 4GB ROM, External support upto 32GB.

Both have 8MP of rear camera which is pretty impressive at price Rs 5,000
The speed of Karbonn is much better than spice as it is clocked with 1.3Quad core processor where spice has 1GHz dual core processor.

Karbonn has 5inches of screen which is pretty good for detailed experience of images and texts whether spice has 4inches of screen.

Battery of Karbonn is much larger for long lasting with 1900 mAh where spice has 1500 mAh

Better to buy Karbonn Titanium S2 plus, no one going to give higher specifications than this Karbonn device at price 5,000Rs.
