  • Which smartphone should I buy- Nokia Asha 501 or Moto E?

Which phone is better - Nokia Asha 501 or Motorola Moto E? It is a tough decision to make! Learn what our experts say about it.

I am looking forward to buy a new smartphone and confused between Nokia Asha 501 and Moto E. Please suggest me which one should I go for.

Both the phones are good and have got lots of popular reviews from users. Nokia Asha 501 ia much cheaper as compared to Moto E but it has comparatively less features.

Please suggest which one I should buy between the two. I have a very tight budget but want to buy a good phone. Also this will be my first touch phone. So please suggest accordingly.

  • Anyone will easily say go for Moto E. We have hardcore fans for Android OS. If you are going to buy Moto E then you are going to have mini computer in your hand. It is lot more than a phone because of its OS. To make it short it has full app support. It doesn't mean Nokia 501 is a lame phone. With Asha 501 you get everyday activities done and few smartness. Since there is much limitation in apps your phone will be stable. The performance won't get altered from the time you buy. In case of Android phone, after using for 6 months it surely lags. The reason in installing lot of apps. You can't control installing apps using an Android phone. There are time where you can't even attend a call or make call. I faced this problem in Galaxy Tab 2 which runs on Android OS and cost Rs.15,000 at the time of purchase.

In simple, if you don't want to face any performance problem over a long period of time go for Asha 501. If you carve for app support then obviously Android works for you.

According to me, you should go for Motorola Moto E.

  • I think if you can afford the price of Moto E, you should choose Moto E. The reason behind this selection is superior features and specifications it provides and the supports you will get from Motorola. I have Moto G phone which provides me better performance as well as supports from the company too. For economical grounds, you can choose Nokia Asha 501.

  • Don't go for Nokia Asha 501, I am using this phone I am facing many problems and it lacks some basic features which are mentioned below.

    1. You can copy the text but I did not get any option to paste it.

    2. More than one application makes the phone very slow.

    3. You will not get any good games to play and if you like any of the game then there are chances that you have to pay for it.

So according to me don't make your first smartphone your last smartphone. If you can add money and have options then go for any other handset.
