    Problem facing with Symantec Antivirus with "Auto Protect Could not Continue"

    Hello Experts,

    I had downloaded Symantec antivirus for my laptop. But I am getting an error message by saying "Auto-protect could not continue". I have tried many times by re-installing the same, but facing the same issue again and again. Now how to fix this issue?

    The error message is : Symantec AntiVirus Error
    Symantec Antivirus Auto-Protect could not continue.
    Please run Live Update or reinstall Symantec AntiVirus and restart. (Code: 10)

  • Firstly, go to "Run" and type %temp%, and delete all the temporary files present there. Now you can try reinstalling it.

    Also check whether you have any other antivirus installed in your system, if so then uninstall it. Also check whether the current version of the antivirus that you are installing might not be compatible with your system. So its better to check the compatibility with your system configuration.
