Can I use AdSense on articles about password cracking of software, Windows, MS Word etc?

Are you wondering if it is against Google policies to use AdSense Ads on articles about password cracking of software like Windows, MS Word etc? Read this thread to learn more about AdSense on password cracking

Am I allowed to run AdSense ads on a website that provide genuine and legal articles on password cracking of Windows, Photoshop, MS Word, Excel etc?

Cracking password is not always illegal. Sometimes we lose our password and we need to crack it. How can I write good articles to help others and use AdSense on them? Is it against Google AdSense policies?

  • Google AdSense cannot be used near any article even if it is self written.Cracking passwords also falls under the category of hacking.Cracking passwords is always illegal even if you do it for your software which you purchase as you are tampering the software. Tampering the software too falls under copyright violation. If a person genuinely lost the key or password for a software which he purchased originally, he can contact the service providers for sorting out the issue. But they may charge a bit for it.
To conclude, I would say that whatever you are asking will violate Google policy if implemented, more than than I don't think that kind of article will be accepted in TEC.

  • Articles about password cracking for MS Word or Windows or any other software is not always fully legal. Google adsense has strict policies and so it will never allow sharing details about password cracking and related stuff. If one faces any issues for MS Office software or Windows OS or other software, he / she can easily approach the various service providers. So, it is advisable not to risk violating google adsense policies by writing about password cracking or similar hacking practises.
