    I am using Redhat Enterprise Linux and it shows message like "A hard disk may be failing. One or more hard disks report health problems. Click the icon to get more information".

    My hard disk is only 6 months old. My OS shows this message every time I login. Can I rectify this error using any tools or it refers I need to replace my hard disk?

  • If this is new hard disk then you can report this issue to service person without doing anything in the PC.

    On other hand, this issue can be resolved by repairing the Linux OS.
