  • To know which tablet is better of the two Akash tablets, UbiSlate 7Ci and UbiSlate 7C+, we must make a comparative study of their specifications and prices. The following is the comparison of UbiSlate 7Ci and UbiSlate 7+:

Display:Both the Akash tablets have the same 7 inches size. The display type is Multi touch capacitive screen in both of them. Screen resolution of 800 x 480 pixels is also the same and the same is the case with pixel density of 294 ppi.

Memory and RAM:Memory of 4 GB, which is expandable to 32 GB via microSD card and 512 MB RAM are the same in both the tablets.

Internet connectivity:Internet connectivity features are almost similar like Wi-Fi, web, email. However, UbiSlate 7+ has the additional feature of GPRS. This enables internet connection on the go.

Data transfer features: Both tablets are provided with miniUSB.

OS, CPU, Sensors:Both the tablets run on Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Both are powered by Cortex A8 processor. G Sensor is common to both the tablets.

Sound:Both the tablets provide a 3.5 mm audio jack.

Other features:Both the tablets offer games. There are over 1,90,000 apps available for both tablets. Both provide Facebook. UbiSlate 7Ci does not support voice calls, but voice calls are available in UbiSlate 7+.

Price:UbiSlate 7Ci is available for Rs.3,999 and shipping charges of Rs.200. On the other hand, the price of UbiSlate 7+ is Rs.4,999 plus Rs.200 as shipping charges.

Conclusion:The above comparison shows that UbiSlate 7+ is better than UbiSlate 7Ci, since it has internet connectivity with GPRS and also the voice calls are available in this tablet. So, if you are ready to pay Rs.1,000 more for UbiSlate 7+ for 2 additional features, it is the worth.

  • Obviously UbiSlate 7C+ is the best. If you can't afford 7C+ then go for 7Ci. The only difference between this two tablet is, UbiSlate 7C+ has voice calling facility, GPRS and you can insert SIM but in 7Ci you don't have this feature. You can go for 7Ci if you don't need those feature.

Ubislate 7C+ will be very useful if you don't have Wi-Fi in your home. Without internet connectivity tablet won't entertain you. If you have Wi-Fi in you home then choose Ubislate 7Ci and if you don't have Wi-Fi go for Ubislate 7C+.

Both of them have the same specs except the SIM card one. Also it will be awkward to make call through a tablet. You can't carry tablet always with you so don't plan you tablet as mobile.

  • No doubt, Aakash Ubislate 7C+ is better than Ubislate 7Ci. This is just because of additional specs and features compare to all other Aakash Tab PC including Ubislate 7Ci.

Another advantage from Ubislate 7Ci is calling and video calling feature and mobile SIM card option whereas this facility is not available in other Ubislate tab PC.

    Regards,
