    How to solve Microsoft Word not responding problem?

    Do you know how to save your unsaved work, after receiving MS Words Not reponding message, before pressing the End Task tab in the Task Manager. Follow this thread to get answers from experts, who will guide you what to do in this situation.

    Today, while I was typing in Microsoft Word 2003 document. Some of the keys got pressed by me inadvertently and the message Microsoft Word (Not responding) started appearing at the top where the file name appears. Neither, I could type further nor I could save the work already typed. I know that we can end the task by going to the task manager. The Microsoft Word will close and the work already done will be lost if it was not saved already. My question is: Is there any method by which we can save the work already done in the document before it gets closed after clicking on the End Task tab in the Task Mgr.

  • Here is the solution for this problem,
    If you are working with the Microsoft word and in the middle if the program is not responding, then follow these simple steps to recover it.
    1)Click Start--> Programs--> Microsoft office tools--> Microsoft Office Application Recovery.
    2)Then in the Application list, select the document which is not responding.
    3)Click Recover Application option to recover the file you were working on.
    4)Else Click on End Application to close the program.
    5)You can also report the error that caused to Microsoft by clicking send error report or Dont send.
