Impact of Google's Mobile Usability algorithm change on April 21 - FAQ
Kudos to the author for coming up with an exclusive list of queries and solutions related to Google's Mobile Usabilit Algorithm that has come into force since April 21, 2015. My two blogs have managed to pass the test when I used my Google Chrome browser to check their mobile friendliness. I liked the various methods mentioned here to get our site mobile optimized and I am sure to use one of them (which I haven't used before) for my upcoming third blog. This is a comprehensive guide for all website owners, bloggers, etc. who want to ensure correct mobile optimization of their websites. The Google algorithm is a great one that would ensure that people prepare websites that can be easily browsed through mobile phones in this jet age.

How to build backlinks without getting penalised by search engines
Thanks Tony John Sir for highlighting the importance of having backlinks to our site or blog in the right proportion. I too share your view of building atleast 1-2 quality backlinks every month and keeping this frequency constant right through year. This would prove more helpful to the SEO of our blogs and eventually help increasing the traffic.

How to join Google Consumer Surveys to make money?
Kudos to the author for coming up with another great alternative for bloggers and publishers to make money from their websites. I quite liked this Google surveys option.

I have a finance-based site developed for my Indian client and after India, the most number of visitors for this site are from US, UK and Canada. So, can I embed Google Consumer Surveys on my website where I am already displaying ads from networks like Infolinks, Madadsmedia and Revenuehits. In simple words, I am not using my approved Google Adsense account to display Google ads as of now because the site is still just 2 months old. In such a case, can I go for Google Consumer Surveys?

Top 5 free apps offering live scores and commentary of ICC World Cup 2015
Kudos to the author for coming up with a comprehensive list of cricket apps providing coverage of ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 event. I normally use Cricinfo app for daily cricket score updates, match reports and player interviews. Recently, I have started using the official ICC CWC 2015 app and Star Sports cricket app only for the World Cup event in Australia and New Zealand. It is amazing to catch up live streaming of cricket matches on smartphones using these apps. I watch only Team India matches on TV, while for remaining team matches I watch the highlights on such apps.

How to Automatically Login to Windows 10 Start Screen without Entering Password?
@Aidan: Thanks for your comments here. Yes, it is possible to have both Windows 8 OS and Windows 10 Technical Preview version on the same PC.

However, if you only have 1 PC at home which is your source for all online activities, then, you should not try it. Since, Windows 10 final version is yet to be released and this Technical Preview version is a pre-final version which may contain some issues / bugs. Hence, you need to try out this version on your spare laptop or spare PC that you may have.

Short or long articles - which are better to get more traffic?
Unless and until it is a short tip or news, most articles can easily go beyond 500-words length. If you are writing on a well-researched topic providing all possible information pertaining to it, you are bound to write a long article of more than 750-800 words. So, kudos to the author above for explaining the importance of having the right mix as far as length of articles in any blog is concerned.

I have seen many bloggers try to add necessary lines just to increase the length of an article. This is not a good practice. You need to write precise articles that will keep the readers interested till the end. Along the way, you need to make efforts to choose comprehensive topics with less competition to write lengthy articles on them.

Best Laptop Insurance Providers for UK Residents
Kudos to the author for providing great details of the top laptop insurance providers in UK. I did live in UK for about 2 years with my husband and purchased a laptop from Currys store. I remember my husband opting for Gadget Cover laptop insurance plan as it could be cancelled at any point of time (without any contract). Additionally, the basic laptop insurance plan offered by Gadget Cover was pretty cheap and it covered all the necessary stuff.

Officevibe review: Rejuvenate your Company Culture
Stress is one of the most common things experienced by majority of office goers today. In such a scenario, anything that offers to lift the spirit of people in offices is most welcome. Officevibe seems to be one such gamification software solution that builds team spirit and helps employees rejuvenate themselves. It is along of the lines of "Work hard, but party harder". Thanks to the author for sharing the features of Officevibe tool and I am sure this could prove to be a great stress-buster tool for companies in the long run. I hope similar tools are made available and promoted among the various organizations which will help increase employee motivation.

For the time being though, if Officevibe could roll out some updates in future to tackle the issue of lack of single sign-on, it could easily become famous with major MNCs.

Top 10 tools to Increase Office Productivity
Good to read about several softwares or tools that help increasing office productivity. I must say the author has done a thorough research and described so many tools, out of which I have used Yammer, Google Hangouts and Feedly. From office goers perspective as well as company's point of view, I somehow found Yammer to be a great networking tool for employees of an organization. It could be used to coordinate for car pooling activities, for team building events, for company's annual events, getting certified resources, knowing about achievements of other employees and teams, etc.

There is much hype surrounding this latest phone from Xiaomi following along the success of Xiaomi MI3 and Xiaomi Redmi 1s phones in India. Thanks to the author for sharing a real-life experience of downloading the Windows 10 Technical Preview and checking out it's features first hand. I have not downloaded the same, but after reading your complete review of Windows 10 features, my curiosity levels have increased. I liked the Start Menu option that Microsoft has provided and also the fact that you can switch from Start screen to Start Menu by a simple tick. The feature to snap apps to 4 corners of Windows 10 is really good indeed. Also, it is a pleasant surprise that Microsoft has brought about a change even with regards to Windows 10 bug reporting using Windows Feedback app.

I would add two more steps to the list of steps for keeping our smartphones safe. This is regarding downloading mobile tracking apps like Android Lost and similar ones to ensure our phones get tracked easily whenever they are lost. Also, one should always take a phone insurance to ensure they less damage in case something happens to the smartphone.

LG G3 launched in India by Amitabh Bachchan, priced at Rs 47,990
Kudos to the author for providing in-depth details about the newly released LG G3 smartphone. The price of LG G3 at INR 47,990 is a tad expensive for a brand that is not Apple or Samsung. I feel LG could have launched G3 at a considerably cheaper price. Other than the price, the features of LG G3 are simply awesome and something every smartphone lover would look forward to. It will be interesting to see how well LG G3 is accepted by Indians in next few weeks, especially since it provides a pretty good battery life for a smartphone. Also the laser auto focus camera will be a key element that can attract consumers to LG G3.

Xiaomi: The Apple of China
As mentioned by the author here, Xiaomi is indeed regarded highly as the "Apple of China". Xiaomi phones have already managed to grab the attention of people using them in China and Singapore. With such a positive feedback, Xiaomi aims to target huge volumes in India with their cheap pricing strategy. It amazes me to see Google Nexus 5 features being made available at a price as low as Rs.13,999. They have established 36 service centres in India and they plan to provide online support as well. During the launch event of Xiaomi smartphones in India, the officials stressed on getting the Android version updated as soon as possible for all Xiaomi smartphones.

With their Flipkart tie-up, Xiaomi smartphones have garnered 100000 registrations from all over India so far. Xiaomi MI3 smartphone goes on sale on 22 July, 2014 at 12 p.m. It will be interesting to see how fast the Xiaomi smartphones go out of stock on Flipkart.

Xiaomi Mi3 Price, Specifications and Features in India
Kudos to the author to bring live pictures of Xiaomi MI3 smartphone directly from the launch event in Delhi. Xiaomi is rightly called the "Apple of China" because of its capacity to provide high-performance smartphones. Unlike Apple, Xiaomi targets to achieve quality at a reasonable price. Their strategy to target Indian audience with a low price for Xiaomi MI3 needs to be applauded. To get features of Google Nexus 5 at a price of INR 13,999 is indeed a creditable achievement. The biggest advantages of Xiaomi MI#3smartphone are the distinctly unique MIUI 5 interface and the massive battery 3050 mAh (which solves the common battery life problem of most smartphones). I have registered on Flipkart to be eligible to purchase Xiaomi MI3 smartphone on 22nd July 2014, when it goes for sale from 12 p.m. onwards.

Kudos to the author for a well-written review of Facebook's Paper app. Indeed, the first look of this Paper app doesn't seem to make us feel that it is a Facebook product. Blogging as a career option- Is it wise to do blogging for a living?
The author has put forward some useful points related to blogging as a full-time career option. I completely agree with him regarding the point about immense competition in the blogging space these days and many new bloggers coming up with blogs on repetitive topics.

With my own experience, I can tell that it is difficult to continue with part-time blogging, especially with the hectic working life that we are used to in India. This made me leave my job and start out as a freelance content-writer on my own. It has just been 2 months and I am writing more on sites like ISC, Techulator, iwriter, odesk, etc. to get paid instantly and slowly working on my own websites. Top 6 cashback websites in India
The author has explained the working of cashback sites for online shopping in a very detailed manner. It is indeed beneficial to the online shoppers to earn some amount from the cashback site by shopping normally from the e-commerce websites that they generally do. In this process, the cashback website does earn some amount from the online merchants with whom they have tie-ups for cashback. This is a win-win situation for all 3 parties: online merchant, cashback site and the online shopper.

From all the cashback websites in India, I found to be the one which offers maximum percentage of cashback for several popular e-commerce websites like Myntra, Jabong, Pepperfry, Groupon, indiatimes shopping, ebay, etc.

Flipkart vs Amazon: Deals and shopping experience compared
Hi Gyandeep,
You have compared the services offered by e-commerce giants Amazon and Flipkart in a very systematic manner. Indeed, Amazon is a proven performer globally, whereas Flipkart has proved itself in India with less competition around. As mentioned by you, it's going to be an interesting tussle between Amazon and Flipkart in the coming years. Both Amazon and Flipkart offered good deals during the recently concluded GOSF and it is expected that both will offer good online discounts during Christmas.

Amazon introduces new things pretty quickly and Flipkart will have to do a lot of catching up. For example, Amazon started affiliate program in India offering much higher commission rates than Flipkart used to offer with it's already existing affiliate program. This strategy of Amazon forced Flipkart to increase it's affiliate commission rates to come closer to the rates offered by Amazon.

Another example of Amazon is getting tied up with Indian cashback site like which offer cashback up to 10% for purchases done from Amazon site. Flipkart is not tied up with any cashback site in India yet (even though it did offer cashback for a certain period of time only via some cashback site).

In this tough competition between Amazon, Flipkart and other upcoming e-commerce websites in India, customer is going to be the real winner.

Should we pay taxes for AdSense income in India?
Hello Tony,
Thanks for clearing one of the most serious questions related to Google adsense earning. I used to wonder a lot if high-earning bloggers need to pay income tax for their earnings from google adsense. And the fact that we declare in our Google adsense account that "we (Indians) are not a US citizen, nor do we have any business in USA" made me believe probably Google adsense income is not subjected to tax cut. But, it was puzzling for me to understand how we can declare income from google adsense if we fall under any of the 3 tax slabs (10%, 20% or 30%).

This article has made it clear that Google adsense income is taxable and the basic rules of income tax apply to this income of Indians as well. Thanks for clearing the air.

Compare Amazon and Flipkart affiliate programs - Which is better for Indian publishers?
Hi Tony,
It is good to see the detailed comparison of Amazon affiliate program and Flipkart affiliate program. With Amazon's entry in India, we can clearly see a different strategy being adopted by Flipkart. Like you suggested, it is a big advantage for bloggers to try Amazon affiliate program because of various reasons as listed under:
-Amazon affiliate program (Amazon affiliates) is quite successful globally (for their UK and US versions) and so it's Indian affiliate program can be easily trusted.

-Amazon offers better commission rates as compared to Flipkart, who have only recently increased the commission rates and still fall behind Amazon.
