In this article, I have given a simple, easy and effective steps to recall the outlook messages in Outlook 2003 and 2010 versions. Please read the below article to know more about recalling feature.

Introduction

Message recall is an option of deleting emails sent in error to the users in both Outlook 2003 and 2010 versions. This option helps the sender to rectify the error made by him by sending an e-mail to incorrect users or recipients. This is a very rare feature and found in a very few e-mail clients. MS Outlook has the feature which gives an opportunity to rectify a human error. This doesn't even happen in a person's Life ever. But Microsoft has given this option to their users using their product for their e-mail communication.

We often send the e-mails without attaching any important files or documents. After sending e-mail, if a user realizes that he has forgot attaching the required file or document, that's when he can use the feature of recalling the e-mail sent without attachment and resend the one with attachment.

Users often tend to send an incomplete message in error without reviewing it. That's when they can use the feature of message recall and get the e-mail with completed information replaced in the recipients' inbox. If the recipient hasn't opened the original e-mail it even deletes it if the sender uses message recall option.

This option is also used by the people if they happen to send an e-mail to incorrect or unauthorized recipients instead of sending it to the authorized ones. This is when the sender can use this option to recall the e-mail sent in error.

This option helps the users of high or sensitive profile who deal with the confidential data used for big financial deals. This data can often be misused if fallen in wrong hands. Recalling such messages will be the only idea and the chances of data protection become higher.

There are two activities a user can perform by using the feature of Message Recall. First, by sending the recall message, you can delete the e-mail already sent by you in the recipients' inbox and second is you can replace the e-mail you have sent with the one containing the missing attachment and information.

I was sending an email to a friend but accidentally sent it to a manager in my company. Since it is week end, he may not read it for next few days. Is there anyway I can call the mail back without giving a chance for him to see it? Does he really need to approve my callback?
