About 'X Phone' and 'X tablet' :

In 2012, Google showcased Android Jelly Bean version and Nexus 7 tablets while the upcoming event will give the first glimpse of Android Key Lime Pie and also launch the 'X Phone' and 'X tablet' in association with Motorola.

According to early reports, Lior Ron who was associated with Google as Product manager (Google Maps) is heading this project for Motorola which focuses on building the 'X Phone' and 'X tablet'. With a team of technicians aiming to bring innovative changes in upcoming projects, the company is trying to explore a new path.

The sophisticated 'X Phone' will have some magnificent features including photo software & a top-notch ceramics-supported camera. These features would add more resistance to drops and provide stronger color saturation & panoramic photographs. With the acquisition of Viewdle, Motorola will incorporate Viewdle’s technology of gesture and facial recognition in its upcoming devices.

The phone which is currently code named as 'X' will bring a tough competition to Apple iPhone and Samsung's Galaxy successors iPhone 5S & Galaxy S4. The 'X Phone' can be expected to lead other smartphones currently available in market. After Motorola merged with Google, Ron joined the Motorola team in May 2012 and had been working on reinventing smart phones. The project was on for the past few months. While Samsung would debut flexible display with Galaxy S4, Motorola too is ready with its innovation. Google is reported to have spent a considerable budget share for developments of 'X Phone'.

It is believed that ‘X Phone’ will be sold by the carrier partner Verizon Wireless.
